Hello folks, this is TJ with this week's fishing report. While many small catches were the norm, we also saw some impressive drum and cobia action. Hope you're ready for a fantastic weekend on the water!

James River Pier

The James River Pier was bustling with activity, as anglers reeled in a variety of species. Spot, croakers, and sea bass were plentiful, with a few anglers boasting impressive flounder hauls. Notably, the catfish and puppy drum were making a splash among the community, providing both challenge and excitement for those at the pier.

At James T Wilson, the diversity of catches was remarkable. From the shimmering scales of Spanish mackerel to the formidable cobia, every cast promised a new adventure. Drum, trout, and perch were in good numbers, while the flounder, blues, and small seabass offered a variety of experiences for anglers of all skills.

Fort Monroe Piers
